This is not the same as it use to be. It looks like it’s now ran by Dominicans. On that note, if you buy a restaurant, I don’t care what nationality you are drop , the flag that was there prior and raise your own. Don’t fake the funk. People will catch on to what’s going on and you will lose everything eventually. if you’re Dominican and you own this restaurant, be proud and raise your flag and bring your own food as well. There’s a big difference in taste and it’s noticeable in our signature dishes. If I bought a Cuban restaurant, I would make sure that everyone knows that I’m of a different ethnic and what I’m bringing to the table. Still keep the authentic dishes , but be real with my cli...

I went with my friend to this restaurant and stumbled upon it on my way back. We ordered a Mofongo for two and a Bacaladito. We also had a pineapple drink that made us feel like we were on an island. The Bacaladito was a bit dry in some spots and greasy in others, not the best I've had. However, the Mofongo was perfect. It was made in a pilón and held its shape, filled with pork chicharrones. It was served with plantain chips, salad, pork chicharrón, and a bowl of "Grosse," which resembled more of a soup. The servers bring it out at an opposite level, either facing away from them or against the wall. Overall, a mixed experience with some standout dishes.
I was excited to visit this place, but it was a really terrible experience. The ladies behind the counter are so rude. The sign says that they accept tap and pay, but when I tried, I had to hand my phone to the woman. I heard the buzzing of the card and then she tinkered with the machine and said that I have no money. I asked to see how much she changed me on the machine because that seemed odd and it was $6,828 for 3 empadanas. My cc company flagged it as fraud and the original charge of $6.89 that did go through will be disputen. I left without food while they kept yelling at me. Rude and terrible customer service.
I'm not really sure what happened, but this is not the same place and food I remember. The food here was always great before, but now, the items don't have much taste and is completely soaked in oil. Also, most importantly, I got sick after eating here. This never happened before, so something has definitely changed in the past year. Book a table now
The food at this restaurant left much to be desired. While the chicken was passable, the rice and beans lacked flavor, were overcooked, and overly mushy. The pastries were just average, and the codfish fritter was inedible. The one bright spot was the delicious pineapple juice.
Went on PR day and it was packed, needless to say order was a bit off. Food is good, but check your order before leaving. Pineapple juice yummy! Definitely a place I'd recommend on a work week not event or holiday.
It’s not what it used to be, they removed all indoor seating and won’t let you use the restrooms even if you buy something to eat. The service is somewhat rude and kind of like hurry up and order !
I'm not sure what kind of soup it was, but it definitely wasn't sancocho. The pasteles were soggy, and the papa rellena was quite small. Recently, this restaurant has become messy and unorganized. Book a table now
My visit was disappointing. The fried snacks were all greasy. Despite that, the food itself was tasty. The restaurant is crowded and the back counter could be more orderly.

"Amazing NYC-style pizza! The best part is that it truly tastes great. Unlike some places that prepare their pizzas in advance resulting in greasiness, Pizza And makes each pizza to order. Plus, it’s very affordable! Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"We visited this restaurant for drinks and had a great time. The view was amazing, and we loved the cocktails. While it wasn't cheap, I believe it was worth it. This rooftop bar is the best one I've been to in NYC."
