total impression: before the time for the Valentine's Day without problems (with a deposit,) it was quite busy and we were up on a temporary table because of the amount of people, but the inset was still suitable. eating was generally quite good with rather generous portions. we ordered the cured meats plated, veal cotoletta, and rose gnocchi, with sparkling water we liked that the meals are very, very full the service is friendly and welcoming but the table was a little shottig, and too small to all foods on. that is understandable because it was so busy, but it has distracted from the culinary experience, and we had to hurry to eat...read more
I have always loved this place, but I'm sad that this time it wasn't the cucina I know.. we visited for brunch, the menu has changed no more eggs Benedict! Ordered the open steak sandwich, was nice but wasn't anything special. The juices are always lovely. But it was the service that fell flat.. they seemed like none of them wanted to be there. It was very straight up.. asked for another juice never received it. Def was an off day for cucina!
there is a reason why this place has been so many years and it is still strong. the first time here in about years. it has a very loyal order. the menu is more traditional, but they make their dishes fair. that was a quality spamigiana, perfectly cooked, like my ribbed eye. service is excellent. no lack of staff to be of support. good dinner.
order of meal. only came out. asked for medium rare and medium, but was well done. could not get any attention to fix it. Elvis party in the upper floor was so loud that nobody could talk.
