I really enjoy Culvers, just like many others do. However, I visited this location today and ordered a simple concrete mixer with cookie dough. Unfortunately, what I received contained peanut butter. This wouldn’t have been such a big deal if I weren't severely allergic to peanuts. I wouldn't even be writing this review if the staff had shown any concern for the dangerously close call I experienced. All I got was a brief apology and the statement that they have procedures in place to prevent this sort of thing from happening. Clearly, those procedures were not followed in my case. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff, but the food was disappointingly bland. I ordered the double deluxe butter burger and fries, but the fries were completely unseasoned. I could barely taste the butter burger, except for the cheese that I specifically asked them to leave off! I don't know if it's a Wisconsin thing, but it seems like they didn't understand my request. The lack of flavor was surprising—maybe their food had been sitting in the fridge for too long? A little salt could have made a world of difference, yet it seems they avoid it entirely! I won’t be returning here again.
The gentleman at the drive-thru window on July 11, 2024, at 9:40 PM was incredibly professional and had a positive attitude. It’s worth noting that this was just 20 minutes before closing on a Sunday night, which is not something you see very often nowadays.
This is likely the best and most delicious burger I've had at any fast food restaurant. The dining area is pleasant, and the service is excellent. They also offer fantastic ice cream treats, and there's a drive-thru available as well. Book a table now
The owner is a great person. I even saw Dave himself taking my order, and they always seem to be busy whenever I visit. The staff know their jobs and do them very well.
This has always been my go-to spot for a delicious burger. I've never had a bad experience here.
