I could not experience the whole offer this Bakery has, I had to order online, even though I live 600 meters away, it is a steep climb from my house so bear with me. What I need to say is that the BAGUETTE has arrived in San José, this is the real thing, the one you’d get in Paris and in a bakery in NYC, please French people do not crucify me, I am telling the truth, New York bread is very, very tasty, and that is all I have to say. A crispy crust in a pointy end in both sides, well tanned, not an albino baguettes, with airy fluffy deliciousness inside, was albI needed to proceed with the baguette I have missed from all my travels to the old Continent. This is one of the restaurants you visit that deserves a more than 5 star rating if there ever was such. Where do I begin? The ambiance and restaurant is extremely welcoming. Service and presentation among the best I’ve seen I travel quite a bit). Each plate we ordered was exquisite in taste and presentation was by itself appetizing !!! The detail to recipes and the inclusion of Asian taste in some of the dishes prove more than appropriate. Owner and waitress Patricia were AMAZING! Can’t wait to go back!!!

the very cozy and well decorated place. all we asked for was good, although some dishes had some regular details, you can't put on a plate some chestnuts that you can't eat for having the skin very glued. the only thing that disappointed us is the attention in the room, although the waitress were very kind, the attention was slow and unprofessional. I thought it was overwhelmed, and that made us not directly attend to it, and the only time that he addressed us, he did it in an unwise way.

Even though it is not cheap, it is worth every colon. I had the vegan tostada and it was delicious. I also had a loaf of their sourdough to take away and the monkey bread. In Europe we’re spoiled with good bakers so my expectations were high but cumpanis gets close. The bread is a little softer than normal sourdough bread so i guess they add some kind of softener ? but overall the best bread I could find in Costa Rica so far.
