I have never taken the time to write a review for anything, much less for any restaurant. HOWEVER, this is the first time I have been so amazed by everything, from the food to quality of service to where I will write a review (and i 'm about to write an essay). Everything was amazing, the owner was there and was hustling to serve everyone but still took time to talk to us and explain what we might like to our tastes. The manager or owner seemed more focused on chatting with friends than on managing the dinner rush, while the two hostesses struggled to coordinate everything. I called in my order at 5:17, and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. When I arrived to pick it up, I paid, but was told my food wasn’t ready yet. At that point, a large crowd of at least 25 people had come in with multiple parties. As I waited after paying, the manager continued to socialize with his friends. After six parties were seated, another staff member asked if I needed help, and I informed her that I was still waiting for my order. It was now 6:05 PM. However, I must update my review following a second visit on October 13, 2023. I agree with some other reviewers that the food quality has declined. We ordered both tomato and dal soup, which turned out to be excessively spicy. The malai kofta was decent, but the kadai vegetable didn’t meet expectations. On a positive note, the naans were excellent. Overall, it felt like a mixed bag this time. That said, the service was still impeccable, and the ambiance remained delightful. I hope our next visit brings an improvement in the food quality.

Curry and cocktails is a great local small business and also happens to be the best Indian restaurant we have ever eaten at. We have eaten Indian in New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and even internationally and this is our favorite by far. The restaurant experience is always smooth, the staff is very kind and the owner Sid is fantastic. He really cares about the patrons and makes sure to stop at every table to ensure the customer is satisfied. My wife and I have become familiar faces and staff even remembers our order. We love C&C!
