Ambitous, pretentious and pricey. The service was outstanding, the quality of the ingredients was very good, but there is a clear lack of chefs/cooks. When you order Alaskan King crab at $100 you expect it not to be rubber, same goes for Paella with the lobster tail it should not be so overcooked that you can stick a fork in it and shake it. The kitchen needs serious training in cooking seafood or just start over. The sauces were over sweetened or used ingredients that don't work (i.e. sherry or sweet masala wine in a clam broth? ridiculous). The brusell sprouts were not crispy and had too much maple syrup on it. The only things that were good out of our $425 plus dinner for three was the Oc...

My husband and I recently dined at Cuzin's Clam Bar in New Brunswick, and overall, we had a pleasant experience. We started with three appetizers: lobster dumplings, oysters, and grilled octopus. While all the starters were delicious, we would have preferred them to be brought out at a staggered pace rather than all at once. Our server was fantastic, attentive, and friendly, enhancing our dining experience. For the main course, we chose the fra diavolo, which was flavorful and well-prepared. However, the cocktails were a bit disappointing. They didn't meet our expectations for craft cocktails, as it seemed the mixers weren't made fresh in-house. Despite this, it was a solid dinner with effic...
Have been here before. Food and service are always outstanding. We were there in the afternoon for Father's Day and it was not packed. The noise level is considerably high and I could not hear the conversation at my table without asking them to talk much louder. It is a large open space dining room so somewhat expected. I know they are an upscale dining establishment but the pricing of both food and drink is top NYC high. Full course and dessert with a few drinks each for 5 of us was over $800 with a 4% fee for using a credit card. Again, pricy to be expected but I just thought a bit too much. Still highly recommend if you are able to afford it.
The service at the restaurant was attentive and all five diners enjoyed their food. However, there were some issues with the noise level due to the hard surfaces in the design, making conversation difficult. The wait time between ordering and receiving our entrees was unusually long, despite the restaurant only being about 60% occupied. Additionally, some tables had a strange experience where they were filmed by a cameraman with a sophisticated camera while receiving their food. It seems that social media has taken over restaurant dining. Overall, I doubt I would return due to these experiences. Book a table now
Great server very attentive back up crew... try the calamari and get both sauces... tough decision on which one ruled.. both terrific!!! Twin lobster tails were fresh hot and NOT rubbery.. I think over risotto would have been easy and better... My husband had the grilled swordfish over risotto with pineapple and mango special which was super delicious.. the table next to us ordered three!!! Charlie the owner reviews everything that exits the kitchen Good to be a CUZIN FAN!!! Definitely recommend
The food is always good but this time it was phenomenal. We had two orders of the baked clams, Caesar salad and we both had the lobster ravioli. Everything was a 10 out of 10. We also had lychee martinis and crème brûlée. Our waitress Becky was also amazing. She was sweet, engaging, funny and also very attentive. The dining experience was great.
Always delicious. The food, the cocktails, the service. Love this place. The Angry Lobster is my favorite. The Kumamoto Oysters were so fresh and tasty. And my lychee martini was perfect. Jules is an amazing server. Our friends, who dined with us here for the first time, also loved it.
The waiter appeared disinterested in engaging with our group. He did not smile and avoided eye contact. Unfortunately, we were unable to get his attention to order more drinks after our meals arrived. It's a shame because the food and atmosphere were excellent. Book a table now
I made a reservation at this restaurant specifically for my wife's birthday, which I noted in the reservation. Unfortunately, her birthday was overlooked. However, when I mentioned it to the server, he quickly addressed the oversight.
