I visited this place for the first time today. We ordered the set: a small bowl of pho, a spring roll (two choices: fried or fresh), and a banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich you can pick half or full sandwich). The place was clean and the lady that served us was very pleasant. We do not have too long for food, first the soup and spring roll. When we finished, the lady removed the plate and brought us the sandwich. The soup was really good (although with less salt it would be better). The spring rolls (fried and fresh) were tasty. The sandwich was bigger than I thought I could only ate half (I brought the rest home). I found, although good, my sandwich tasted slightly fishy, possibly from the fish...
All the food here is delicious, freshly made with fresh, tasty ingredients. The restaurant is so clean and nicely decorated, very cosy and welcoming. The owners are very friendly. The bowls and soups are all amazing. Sandwiches as well are so fresh and tasty. I keep returning here and it is consistently good, never disappointed.
I can’t wait to go back! First, a sandwich for under $5?!?! Wtf? Why would anyone go to subway? The soup is amazing, the spring roles are the real size as opposed to Sichuan restaurants, and the combo is $11.50 for all three. Best part: it’s a mom and pop resto, so you’re likely being served by one of the owners.
We had previously picked up just sandwiches for the family. This time we ate there. Husband had the soup, spring roll and the cyclo special sandwich. I had the grilled chicken noodle bowl and a cold brew Vietnamese coffee. The owner chatted with us. Very good food and friendly place. We will go back.
