When I entered the restaurant, I was welcomed in Italian, so I knew I was in a good place. I had a Saltimbocca as main and a tartufo as desert. The waiter offered to poor some amaretto over the tartufo.I tasted excellent.So why not 5 starts then?I was brought to a kind of covered patio, very nice, but just when I finished the superb saltimbocca, a lady who finished her meal started to smoke a cigarette. People who smoke, would say: ”So what”, but for a nonsmoker the taste of the fine food is spoilt by the smell of cigarette smoke. If I knew on forehand, I would have asked for sitting (alone) inside the restaurant instead of the patio.To summarize, excellent food and friendly staff.
First night in Bad Homburg. Hadn't read the reviews on this place but gave it a go.No issues on arrival sat us down with no problems.The staff were really friendly and spoke excellent English.I ordered the monk fish stew. I was very impressed. If you like all seafood you'll love this. All in all a good night and would highly recommend this place.
Stopped in for dinner whilst staying around the coroner at the Steigenberger. This is a good quality Italian at a very reasonable price. The pasta dishes we had as main meals were tasty and very large. Was very busy with locals on a Tuesday night which is always a good sign.Service was friendly and efficient.
Even though the interior is quite old and probably was never renovated! Everything was quite fresh and good. They also try with the presentation. The sole is great! The buratta was very good. The staff is nice and friendly. They seem to have a nice selection of wines as well (even though I do not drink)

We had diner at Da Alfonso and found out this is an address you do not want to mis. Huge choice of food on menu and outside of it, all out meals were great. Special attention to the Tiramisu, available in 3 flavours, alle were great.
