I would give 0 star but unfortunately this option is not available. We have seen the great reviews of this place and since we love pizza, we wanted to give it a try. Together with my wife and years old child, we drove tonight...from Strasbourg and arrived around hrs. We found a table straight away, although the place was superbusy. Actually in mins after we arrived, people were queuing at the entrance, which only shows how sought after this place is. Also, the atmosphere was good, lots of happy faces and good energy. That's when the disaster started. Firstly, we were seated at a big table alongside few other people, which we didn't mind, as we could see how full the place was. What was weird...
This was a pleasant surprise finding such good Italian food while visiting Germany. My litmus test for Italian fare is always lasagna Bolognese; and it was excellent. Served freshly made and piping hot, excellent flavor and content to the lasagna, and a generous portion size....My wife had their special, fresh muscles. She enjoyed them, but would have preferred a bit more character to the sauce they were served in the sauce was a plain white wine sauce. The pizza there is also very good, as another member of our party ordered that. Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience and the food was certainly worthy of a return visit

Large family-run Italian restaurant One of the best places in Offenburg, when it convinces with good Italian cuisine, delicious cuisine, seasonal and varied maps and a friendly and warm family service. We always feel comfortable here. The price-performance ratio adapts to the guest. You find something delicious to eat. The eye eats here as usual, the food is very lovingly dressed and also tasted excellent. In beautiful weather you will find a place to eat outside on the large terrace. My husband and I were on 10. September in the : Da Cataldo. The food was as always super great, even with the service we were very satisfied. But what did you do with the restaurant? The cosiness, the warmth in the restaurant is totally lacking. The ambience is cold, you feel uncomfortable as a guest. Where are the many plants from then on? The Rumpsteak was great, but the plate is not really suitable for it. When you cut the steak, we got goose bumps. Steak knife meets plate with a strange rough surface. :

We went looking for a good Italian place on our way though the area and this place popped up on TripAdvisor. The food was splendidly prepared, the staff did their best with limited english. What was truly surprising was that there was a person...brittish party at the large table and the staff were able to cater to them and all the other guests with seemingly few missteps. It was impressive to watch. So we got great food and a show. Absolutely recommended for anyone who enjoys proper Italian food
Super food at super prices, the waiters are fleeting and friendly! Unfortunately, the ambience after modernization has lost a small charm. The cold white LED light is really unpleasant and you feel almost like in the practice of a doctor. Just one tip: Please change the LED lighting in warm white and put a few color accents, then feel much more comfortable! That's it!
We visited this place while staying a night in Offenburg. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was really friendly and welcoming although we did not speak German. We each had a pizza: it was delicious! The portions were very generous with fresh ingredients at a...fair price between and euros for the pizzas depending on the size small, big or XXL
Something hidden. Incredibly loving staff. So warm and friendly. We were 2x with 3 children. were always fully satisfied. The children also like it very much there. You feel very comfortable. We can only recommend it to everyone. Thanks to the entire team
