I would advise against ordering the grilled mackerel unless you enjoy a very strong fishy taste and smell. It wasn't grilled at all; it felt more like it was sautéed. I also tried my friend's teriyaki beef, which was quite rubbery due to being overcooked. The salad would have been okay, but it had a bitter flavor. I recommend sticking with the pork ribs and bulgogi; those are always good choices, but be prepared for very small side portions. Additionally, if you're ordering through Grubhub, expect to wait over an hour, as the restaurant isn't familiar with handling online orders.
The menu is 100% in Chinese so you know it's legit. Everything was DELICIOUS. Really, really authentic northern Chinese food. My family got 7 dishes: lamb and onion, spicy chicken with lotus, bamboo and various veggies, sweet and spicy fried fish, short ribs, cucumber and jellyfish, and something I don't know how to say in English. Lamb is one of my favorite proteins and can tend to be a little gamey, but hot damn this was so tender. Food was on poiiiiint and the atmosphere was very authentically Chinese. We went on a Sunday afternoon and there was only 1 non-Chinese person.
Dae Jang Kum really surprised me! I had 0 expectations going in because my boyfriend picked it and brought me here. But it was a fantastic experience overall. The menu is a mix of mostly Chinese and Korean dishes. We ordered the hot and sour soup, wonton soup, crab rangoon, beef bulgogi and string beans. Everything was tasty but the beef was to die for and the beans were seriously addicting! I've seriously never had veggies that tasted so good. The service was friendly and prompt, especially for later in the evening on a Monday. I'll definitely visit Dae Jang Kum again.

Dae Jang Kum now specializes in Chinese cuisine, not Korean! Food was pretty good but I was a bit thrown by the menu being all-Chinese. It does give it a more authentic feel, but I noticed that the English menu they gave me afterwards had different dishes on it, which made me sad. Luckily my Chinese friend was able to point out which dishes were good on the Chinese menu. We got what literally translated to big plate chicken and an appetizer dish that was beef tripe with chili oil, ginger, and cilantro. Also, the portion for the chicken was massive! Good value.
Quick update here. Been a bunch more times and everything is still amazing, but today blew me away. Ordered on Grubhub and for whatever reason, Grubhub never sent a driver so after closing, the owners drove the food to my place themselves, going out of their way when they were off the clock. Amazing show of their commitment to quality food and service. Was totally blown away, especially after two hours of back and forth with Grubhub customer service. They took someone else's mistake, fixed it and made my night. Thank you.
Absolutely amazing! I ordered takeout and highly recommend the pork short ribs and the three delight rice noodle soup. The bibimbap was decent, but not extraordinary. It sat in the car for 40 minutes on my drive home, so it may have been better fresh. However, that soup will definitely be on my mind for a while!
This place is quite the gem! Authentic Chinese and Korean cuisine! Quite a nice selection from tender succulent beef to tasty spicy Szechuan dishes. We got these fried green bean dish that was perfectly seasoned and was delectably scrumptious! We really enjoyed our meal here! Will definitely be back!

This place is no longer Dae Jang Kum. It's now Acacia asian cuisine. We had the short ribs and the Mongolian beef. Food was ok. The ribs was tasty but meat was tough. The Mongolian beef was just so so.
This is a fantastic place for a quick lunch. While parking can be a bit tricky, it's a real hidden gem for delicious BBQ and tofu soup.
