Ate here for the first time three years ago and had a fabulous experience but this time was a massive disappointment. Food was underwhelming and servers kept bumping into my chair. Worse, despite the restaurant being largely empty, the hostess insisted on seating people directly next to us and forcing which felt cramped and uncomfortable. Our efforts to appeal to her were met with a fairly rude and condescending attitude. Sadly, we won't be going back here.

I found the New Year’s Eve menu to be a terrible value for the money. One of the courses consisted of a small piece of white bread topped with bland egg salad. The sparkling wine was flat, and the other dishes didn't impress either. The clams were gritty. I absolutely do not recommend this place, and I was really disappointed by the lack of effort put into what was meant to be a special meal.

However, I did wish for more lunch options on the menu. The chirashi bowl was smaller than what I’ve experienced at other establishments for a similar price. On the upside, the sashimi was fresh and flavorful. My lunch choice included a miso soup, which was an enjoyable addition. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot if you find yourself in the Southside!

The pork and Brussels were amazing! However everything from the grill taste like grill and char, no real flavor. We also weren’t aware that we couldn’t order ramen, bummer. Unfortunately, we had to go to another restaurant because we left still hungry. I’d recommend this place for drinks and ordering small plate to palette cleanse, not to fill up. Book a table now

Multiple dishes were completely inedible. There was way too much salt in 75% of the dishes. Also definitely not worth the money even if the food was edible (served hot dogs in the shape of octopus and egg salad sandwiches). The only pro was the alcohol selection and the aesthetic of the restaurant. Will never return to the upstairs restaurant.

After not having returned since the beginning of the pandemic, I've noticed a significant change in the menu options. In the past, there were more choices that blended various flavors, but now it seems to focus more on fried foods. Additionally, ramen has been added to the menu, but it is only available below.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. There's a dish to satisfy every palate, complemented by unique drinks. I've been here before and I will definitely be back for more!
