Great place. We have been coming here for the last 20 years and have never been disappointed or left the place hungry. Nice people working here too. Update as of 7/7/23 it’s now getting close to 30 years that we’ve been coming to the Daily Treat and it still continues to please us. There is never a bad meal here and the service is always spot on. Pictured is the Philly Cheesesteak which was excellent (not pictured is the pickle which I ate). Their breakfast items, what I usually get, are top notch. My thanks to the owners and staff for always being so reliable.
Service was very good; it was difficult to tell who worked there because they dress like customers, but it didn’t pose an issue. Food was not good. The mediterranean omelette was about 60% tomato 30% cheese and 9% egg. The hashbrowns were cold and pretty flavorless. The french toast was basically just egg and bread. No cinnamon, I had to drown it in butter and syrup to get some flavor out of it. Sausages were normal but a little fugly. There was a young child in restaurant who exclaimed, “eeewwww this is so gross” about their food, and I agreed.
My order was ready for at least 10 minutes, but the app did not notify me. When I walked in to pick up my food, it was cold. The fries were mediocre and lacked flavor. The panini was made with white bread and the chicken was not tasty; it had a strange taste. The slaw was dry. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. I would not return, unless maybe to dine in. The atmosphere seemed relaxed, but the food was subpar.
Had a wonderful lunch outside at the Daily Treat yesterday! The pea soup and salads were delicious!!! I have been going to my home away from home, the Daily Treat for over 50 years!!! John Dimi and their amazing staff are like family. They are The Best!!!

Great place for breakfast. I enjoyed both their French Toast and stuffed French toast. They accommodated a party of 9 with only a small wait and delivered everything that was ordered to the table quickly and without any issues. I'd try this place again.
The food at this restaurant was delicious. I enjoyed a tasty burger and a turkey triple decker sandwich. The kids meals were also very generous in portion size.
I leave in Hackensack 15min drive to this place, just to have a feel good ambience breakfast especially in the spring or fall season.
The sandwich was delicious and the bread was perfectly toasted, but please consider placing the restaurant closer to the front door.
