Yesterday was the first time I stopped at this place, despite having driven by it numerous times. I can honestly say it was a fantastic experience. The staff and management were incredibly friendly. However, what really blew my mind—and the main reason for this review—was the level of care put into the food preparation. I’m not sure I’ve ever ordered anything from a fast food chain that looked as good as it did in the pictures. Let me tell you, every item I ordered could easily have been featured in a promotional photo. The buns were fresh, tall, and perfectly rounded (not squished). This restaurant has become overly expensive, and they can't even fulfill orders correctly. I asked for a specific topping on my ice cream, which I know incurs an extra charge, but they completely left it off. I doubt I'll be going back. This isn't just a one-time issue for me; problems like this happen often, and it's simply not worth it. I'd much rather drive to Norwood instead.
I want to extend my thanks to Kristy at the DQ in Glencoe! I called to order a special cake for Emily's birthday, and despite her busy schedule, she took the time to create something wonderful for us. The cake was fantastic and simply delicious!
The new owners appear to be fantastic! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the food is great. Our chicken strips were crispy, and the fries were served hot. We’re hoping this will remain a go-to stop for us when we travel to and from the cities.
