I typically enjoy visiting Dairy Queen and have never had any issues, but this time was quite different. First, the intercom at the drive-thru was barely audible. When I tried to order a Misty Freeze, I noticed the flavors weren't listed anywhere. I asked for blue raspberry, and the employee responded dismissively, saying, "We don’t have that flavor," with a tone full of sass. I had to request a list of available flavors from her.
When I got to the window, I only received my friend's milkshake. The employee insisted that I hadn't ordered anything, even though I clearly had, and she continued to display a sassy attitude. My order was rushed, and the treat I received was mainly just ice crea...
It’s a weird experience when you’re somehow disappointed with your ice cream. This location was very lacking in quality! They don’t have chocolate soft serve here, so no twist cones. I got a shake instead and it was a big let down. It wasn’t very cold, was not very flavorful, no whip, and they didn’t even fill the cup the whole way. The place seems to be run by teenagers, which isn’t odd, but it doesn’t seem like they’re much interested in quality control. I don’t know if the owner is just stingy and instructs them to give less than you paid for, but that’s what my guess is.I won’t be returning to this location. There are far better DQ’s in the area!
THIS LOCATION IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! NEVER GO HERE, IT IS WORTH THE GAELS AND TIME TO GO TO ANY OTHER LOCATION. THEY NEVER STAY OPEN UNTIL THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO CLOSE THEY ALWAYS CLOSE EARLY. WE PULLED UP AND GOT OUT CUZ IT SAID OPEN AND IT WAS ONLY 825 AND IT CLOSES AT 930. BUT WE WALKED UP TO THE DOOR AND THEY WATCHED US. AND THEN THEY TURNED ALL THE LIGHTS OFF. THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES. THEY DONT MAKE BLIZZARDS RIGHT THEY BARELY PUT ANY CANDY/TOPPINGS IN , ITS USUALLY JUST ICE CREAM WITH MAYBE A SMALL SPOONFUL OF STUFF PUT IN.
The management needs to be more attentive to the quality of food served by their employees. I can confidently say we won't be returning. The dish we were served was terrible; the caramel was burnt, and rather than discarding it, they continued to serve it to customers. Is caramel sauce really that expensive?

Pulled up at 8:40 and after waiting for a few minutes I was told the blizzard and ice cream machines were already cleaned and shut down. That I could order something premade if I wanted. Is it normal to close 20 minutes before you close? Disappointed.
Charming little spot with an open front counter. If you're in the mood for a delicious treat or a hot dog, this is the place for you. If you’re hesitant, it might be best to look elsewhere.
I've noticed the owner bringing their dog into the back on several occasions, which is quite off-putting for a food establishment. I would definitely not recommend going there.
The Dairy Queen on Highway 61 in White Bear has the best smooth and creamy ice cream. I go there every time I go to a hot Fudge sunshade or peanut Buster paper!
