Honestly, I would have to rank this Dairy Queen at the bottom of my list after 70 years of visits. The staff appeared to be all young people who seemed indifferent. The service was mediocre, and the burger we ordered without onions came loaded with them. I returned it, and they promised to provide us with a new burger. However, when I got back to the table, it was the same burger with just the onions removed, and the inside was a complete mess, with toppings scattered all over the burger and its container. I definitely cannot recommend this location to anyone!
When my banana split was finally ready, the staff member was standing at the counter holding it up in the air while chatting with a coworker. I cleared my throat and politely reminded her, "I’ve been waiting 30 minutes!" I couldn't even figure out who the manager was—the place was a mess, and it seemed to be run by inexperienced staff lacking a strong work ethic and basic service skills. It was quite the circus. Times have definitely changed.
Unfortunately, the customer service leaves much to be desired. Upon entering the store, I felt ignored as the staff focused on fulfilling online orders. A simple acknowledgment like "we'll be with you shortly" would have made a big difference. It took at least 15 minutes just to place an order, and another 10 minutes to receive it. Additionally, the cleanliness of the store could use some improvement.
I was quite disappointed after spending $15 on a flamethrower burger, which really didn’t offer much more than a Wendy's value burger, just with a bit of spicy sauce (is it mayoracha?). The $5 poutine was a much better value. The restaurant could benefit from a thorough deep clean and more attention to the tables and restrooms, though that might be due to having limited staff. I arrived at 8:15, even though the restaurant closes at 9. I was informed that they had already stopped serving grill items for the night. When I inquired if it's usual for them to stop serving food 45 minutes before closing time, they confirmed that it is. I'm really disappointed that I drove all the way across town for nothing.
Absolutely awful management. The supervisor on duty, whom I believe was named Hemant, was incredibly rude and had an unacceptable attitude. He clearly lacks fundamental customer service skills. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Stay away from this location if you want to have a pleasant experience.
I really love this place, not only for their delicious ice cream treats but also for their authentic grilled burgers and other tasty dishes. It's one of my favorite spots for casual dining. Right now, you can get two double cheeseburgers for only $7, or one for $5!
I picked up an ice cream cake and it was delicious! However, I think they should consider removing the blue icing. I accidentally got some on my shirt and couldn't get the blue dye out, so I had to throw it away right after buying it. Book a table now
The cake they made for my daughter's 3rd birthday was outstanding! It surpassed my expectations, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful when I went to pick it up!
