I have been visiting this specific Dairy Queen since I was a child, as I was born and raised just 2 blocks away. My go-to order has always been the same - a mint smarty blizzard. However, when I visited tonight and tried to order my usual, I was told that there would be an extra charge since mint smarty is not on the menu, only mint Oreo. I am truly disappointed by this decision, not just because of the additional cost for a minor substitution, but also because it feels like taking advantage of customers. Their was a mistake with my drive thru order. I went inside and the guy at the counter corrected the issue immediately. I’ll call him Tan for short so I don’t butcher the spelling, but he was awesome.
I ordered the tasty ice cream and blizzard. I am grateful for the excellent service they provided.
