I went to Dairy Queen in Rutherford on 9/19/23 with a craving for pumpkin pie. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find out that they had run out of pumpkin pie crust and used cheesecake instead without informing me. I ended up returning the dessert for a refund as the flavor combination was not to my liking. It was disappointing to see the lack of communication and misleading information from the employee, which reflects poorly on the management of the restaurant.
My fingers and hands are still sticky from the overflowing hot fudge I asked for extra-soft twist, hot fudge, whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles! HEAVEN!! Staff is nice, prices are normal ice cream prices and of course sitting outside eating is the best! So grab a friend and go grab some DQ (go soon before they close for the winter).
The ice cream was way too soft and airy. My husband and I each had cones. Admittedly it 's been a while since we 've bought anything at Dairy Queen. But I remember the cones coming to a pointed swirl and having a nice flavor. Ours had no actual body... just a blob on a cone.
The restaurant did not confirm my order until I called, and they did not provide us with utensils. The ice cream was okay, but we had to borrow spoons from the hotel. Book a table now

This restaurant is a fast and convenient option for getting ice cream, and the quality is consistently excellent.
I only had a small chocolate ice cream cone, but it tasted better than it did before.
The cups could have had more blizzard in them. We felt like we didn't get enough. Book a table now
