I needed do grab something quick on my way to an event after staying the night at the village creek Inn. I wish it opened earlier than 8 because I could have sat down for breakfast. However, they whipped up a breakfast sandwich quickly for me and it was very, very good. They had a few different coffee brews available and the first two I started pouring into my cup were full of coffee grinds. Eventually, I went with the regular roast and it was fine, but nothing special and did have a few grinds in it.
I oredered 1 thing- nachos and cheese - listed for $7 I literally got a handful of corn chips with a small sprinkle of cheese - which I watched was micorowaved - and horribly over melted/ cooked- 1/4 of my small portion was plastered to...More
There weren't many dining options in the area, but this place provided a fantastic alternative to the Eco Cafe located on the boardwalk. The food was comforting and delicious.
The food is delicious, but the service is very slow. My partner went to order breakfast sandwiches to go while I was getting groceries nearby.
