We enjoyed the ambiance. We ate outside on a lovely evening. The service was a little slow. But we were not in a rush. Had the Wontons in chicken broth. They were horrible. The wonton was very gummy. I have had the frozen ones from Trader Joe’s and they were superior to the ones here. I took a bite and could not finish the rest, my daughter did not want to try after my reaction. I have eaten at many fine restaurants that would automatically deduct an unfavorable item from the bill. This place does not, however they removed it after I asked. Which I greatly appreciated. Came here to eat after being in the local area. It was nice to be able to walk in the hostess were nice and accommodating. The servers were nice but were in a rush. I walked in at 7:15pm and left within an hour or less. The entree ginger shredded duck sat on my table for the entire service untouched. No manager came out. We did not receive our last small dish until AFTER the server brought out the check and did not offer us a dessert menu. The molten lava cake had nothing molten about it. Nor was it hot it was warm/cold.. the matcha cake itself tasted like uncooked eggs and the ice cream tasted as if it had frost bite. Customer service was out of this world! The food was TASTY and timely the atmosphere was quaint. I was there for an intimate dinner to celebrate a friend's soon-to-be marriage. There were 8 of us, we spent under $300 on our entrees, apps and drinks (with much to take home), and we were effortlessly able to split the check between 3 Cards (4 max). I visited this restaurant for the first time and I must say, it was incredible! We ordered a variety of dishes and everything was absolutely delicious. The concept of family style dining was a hit with our group. The desserts were especially amazing, so be sure to save room for them. The service was excellent and the ambience and atmosphere were beautiful.
When will manager inattentiveness no longer masquerade as staff shortages? Appetizers were pretty awful small, overdone and served after mains. Noodles were tasteless and awash in mediocre sauce. Mains were decent if poorly presented and of very modest size for price. Seating/table and atmosphere inexcusably poor. There are much better options in Ardmore.
This is exactly what I have been craving for 3 weeks. I was a little hesitant to order due to the price. but Boy OH Boy, money well spent. I hadnt been able to find food in this style since I moved from the West Coast back in November. I will be ordering from here again.
Was it spicy? Yes. Was it fast? Yes. Did they bring out extra rice when we looked a little overheated? Yes. Great place with a great team. Noodles are fresh, chili oil is the perfect florescent red, and they have a garden with skylights in the dinning room ;

The food at this restaurant is good, but only if you are a meat-eater. I attempted to switch beef for tofu in a noodle dish, but they refused. I hope they make their menu more accommodating, as I would love to come back often.
