Two words- Friggin delicious! I had been feeling down and low, as my pizza experience in Forest Hills hasn't been that great since living here. Thankfully my husband is the explorer in the relationship and decided to walk around the area. He stumbled upon Dante's and just had a feeling it would be good so he told me about it. We went there together a couple of days later and, thank the heavens, my pizza dilemma is now solved! The pizza at Dante's is the classic New York slice with the perfect amount of cheese and a nice thickness to the crust. The mushroom spinach pizza (by the slice), eggplant Rollatini and fried calamari were spectacular! The pizza crust had that great crunch and the toppings were hot and gooey. The eggplant rollatini was full of cheese and swimming in hot and spicy tomato sauce. The calamari was plump and tender and lightly coated with a cornmeal and fried to a crispy golden finish. The seating is limited (no out side seating) and the can probably get a little warm in the summer given you will be sitting in the same room as the ovens. Had this place for the first time and it was great. Pizza wasn’t too doughy and the crust was crispy just the way I enjoy my slice! The white slice was amazing, the pepperoni’s are large! The tomato sauce for the margarita pizza is for sure home made! Service was great nice people making awesome pizza.
Pretty good pizza. We ordered a takeout Margherita pizza and added chicken. The portion was big which was great, but we found ourselves needing to add flavor like Parmesan and pepper. We definitely will try another pie here again.

Excellent pizza but yo, some of these guys aren't wearing gloves when they handle the pizza. I'm not picky, but probably a flat for others. If you can get over that fact, get yourself a slice or two of the grandma. Good stuff!!!
Classic NYC pizza. I had a Sicilian with pepperoni and a “grandma” slice. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. I am pleased to have found this place. The pizza sauce is amazing.Food: 5/5

White slice didn't have flavor. And the vodka pie was lacking in flavor also. The chicken sCesar was decent.
