D.a.’s Deli And Dining Calumet City

Just purchased a half a pound corn beef sandwich for $10.95 plus tax and this place should be a shame of themselves for giving me a bread sandwich with cheese! There was only a couple of slices of meat on it. I tried calling to complain but it goes to a voice message that's full so you can't leave a message! Charging people this much for a sandwich with nothing on it is a shame. Please avoid this place by any means!!

I’m disappointed I paid $15 for a vegetarian plate. You get 4 sides that are a ice cream scoop a size. So the greens are a big disappointment. They are not collard butIt taste like spinach. The fried corn is ok but not what I expected. It's can corn with a lot of sugar, seasoning and flour.Dressing& Mac is actually ok.Gravy for the extra side of rice I got had no flavor. Very disappointed

Saw the sign “Soul Food “ , so I had to try, had the Catfish Dinner and two sides, the catfish was seasoned just and fried right, the sides were not great but ok, the red beans and rice needed more flavor and the collard greens looked like spinach and tasted off. But overall will try again.

I'm so glad that I found this new location I missed them from the 159th spot. The customer service is what I appreciate, friendly and courteous. The Corn Beef is Sooo Good and tender with much flavor. The cornbread dressing and red beans and rice Hello it's a Party In My Mouth ?Mz Sand

I ordered turkey, dressing, mac n cheese and fried corn. It was not worth the wait! The turkey was too salt, the fried corn was burnt and the cornbread was dry. I heard so many good reviews about DA Deli I was so disappointed.
