I ordered the walleye dinner to go and also enjoyed the steak along with two sizzling rice entrees while dining in. Everything was absolutely fantastic! We were so excited to start eating that I didn't even take any photos. This place is a dependable choice for high-quality meals. The amazing steak and walleye dishes often get overshadowed, as most diners typically gravitate towards the classic chow mein. The waitstaff are very friendly and efficient, and the kitchen team clearly knows their craft. I believe it's the oldest restaurant in Bloomington, and a new carpet would definitely help with the ambiance. However, if you're there just for the food, you won't be disappointed!
I recently dined at this restaurant for the first time and appreciated the cozy ambiance inside. The server was excellent, but unfortunately, the food didn't meet my expectations. My fried rice was quite hard and seemed solely seasoned with soy sauce. The chicken in my stir-fry was tough, and overall, I felt the meal was rather pricey for what was offered. Nothing particularly impressed me during my visit, so I'm uncertain if I would return.
Awesome atmosphere, food, and service. It's so nice to sit down at a nice Chinese restaurant. The shrimp toast was super delicious, and the sauce for the crab rangoon wasn't too sweet. We shared the select two dinner, which was a sweet and sourchicken and a shrimp lo mein. Everything was fresh and delicious.
Delicious food, decent prices. I've been to this location several times and each time the waiter or waitress has been very kind with a phenomenal sense of humor. One time, our waiter had fun little jokes for us! Drinks are strong but tasty, I wouldrecommend the Mai Tai!

The food was incredible! Even though the place was packed, the staff was both efficient and friendly. I even had the opportunity to meet David, who kindly took a photo with me. I will definitely come back before they close!
Minh was our server, and I highly recommend her. She was very kind and offered excellent suggestions. David Fong's Restaurant is fantastic, with reasonable prices and consistently quick service.

This place is truly fantastic! The flavors live up to the name. I highly recommend trying the shakes and teas. I really enjoy the cozy, mom-and-pop store atmosphere!
