We have been going to this restaurant occasionally for years because it is close to home. It has never been amazing, but it was alright. Lately, the quality has been declining. The last two times we ordered fish and chips, it was awful. The food had no taste, the chips were bland, the batter was flavorless, and the cod was soggy. It was the worst fish and chips we have ever had. The portion size was also smaller than expected for a large order. We will not be returning to this restaurant, we have had enough.
I went to this restaurant hoping to order some fish and chips. I realized I didn't have enough money for both, but I asked if I could just get 50p worth of chips. Even though they sell kids chips for £1, the staff member refused to accommodate me. I left with just a piece of cod, and I won't be returning. As a regular customer, I expect better customer service than what I received. This experience has made me reconsider being a patron of this establishment in the future.
Last Saturday we returned from holiday and decided to treat yourself to fish and chips We were really looking forward as it has always been great. What a disappointment We only live a few minutes away by car an the chips were cold and the fish batter was soft. Please bring back the old chef who was great
Ordered for delivery, chips, battered sausage a savaloy , chips were not fresh hard , the sausages were ok but the savaloy was as hard as rock it was awful, I wouldn't even feed it to the dog! Won't be ordering again

I always love getting fish, chips and sausages here it's the best I've had in a long time. The portions are huge so my boyfriend and I can split a small order for a great price. Love this place!
The service was extremely slow, the food was not even warm, let alone hot, and no one enjoys lukewarm chips. The pie was decent at least, but overall, it was not the best dining experience.
Haven’t been at this chip shop for awhile . Will not be returning . Batter was hard fish was very dry . Did not enjoy my fish chips , a lot of it went in the bin , what a waste .
Great fish chips, never buy a large unless buying for four or more people!! A small will feed at least two big eaters!! Friendly staff and best fish chip shop around the area.

The worst fish and chips I have ever had. Don’t know what the fish was, but it was supposed to be a large cod at the cost of nearly £10. Disgraceful.
