The Kale Caesar was enjoyable, but the bone-in ribeyes were not cooked properly (rare, almost blue near the bone instead of medium as requested) and the bone marrow crust was overpowering. The steaks were too fatty with gristle throughout. The smashed potatoes were over-whipped, gummy, and inedible. The whiskey drinks were good, but other mixed drinks were not. Overall, the restaurant seems like an overpriced tourist attraction and I would not recommend it.
We had a pleasant dining experience, despite a very disrespectful and rude customer at a nearby table who mistreated a waitress. Our server was kind and our meal was enjoyable. We were even given complimentary dessert for our politeness. To the woman who was extremely rude, please consider seeking help as it is not worth treating others in such a manner. Life is too short to be unkind to fellow human beings.
Had dinner here 2 years ago and when we decided to travel to Nashville again chose to eat here again. Though they were out of the whiskey aged ribeye the steaks we got instead were excellent. The Brussels sprouts were sweet and smoky, the potatoes needed salted but the wine list, desserts and cocktails all made for a wonderful dinner. Will dine here again but call ahead to reserve a ribeye.
First time visiting Deacons, I follow a YouTuber who recommended this place awhile back, even tho the menu is different and a lot of things are different from when the video was filmed, this place did NOT disappoint! Food was amazing, service was excellent and we had a great time celebrating a good friend’s birthday. We will definitely be coming back. Book a table now
It was my first time and it will NOT be my last. It is a bit on the pricier side but my steak was one of, if not the best, I’ve had in Nashville. Everyone in my group of 5 agreed.
Quality of food and excellent service. What more to ask for, except the largest steak in Nashville, cooked to perfection. Highly recommend to any Carnivore!
