The cafe was cold, so we decided to close the window at our table. However, we were met with rude and unprofessional behavior from the staff who shouted at us across the entire cafe, saying "DON'T TOUCH MY WINDOW." They have no idea how to treat customers properly. If there is an issue, they should address it with the person at their table, not shout across the cafe. We are not tourists and often visit coffee shops in Rochester, but we will never return to this cafe again.
I really enjoy the coffee at this restaurant, as well as the location. The staff is excellent. Don't pay attention to the negative reviews - this is a local business that deserves support. It's frustrating to see keyboard warriors causing unnecessary trouble with their reviews. The coffee is delicious, the staff does a great job, and there is a nice variety of snacks available. Treat yourself and give this place a try.
I would not come back to this restaurant. I wanted to order a takeaway, but I was ignored by three staff members and then given a dirty look. There was no greeting, just a stare as if I had done something wrong. I had planned to order a lot of food, but I left as soon as possible. Next time, I will go to a different place.
Nice enough place with good coffee in great location. Visiting on a damp December day the atmosphere was a bit barren and not cosy at all. The seating situation is a mixture of office type chairs, or childrens school chairs, not large enough for most behinds! Could do with a soft furnishings update. Book a table now
This great little cafe is situated directly opposite the cathedral and serves some very tasty food. We had paninis, and they came quickly and tasted delicious. Lots of lovely cakes etc on offer and the cold drinks were great too. Reasonably priced and great service would recommend a visit
A warm and friendly venue in Rochester High Street. I often drop in here for a drink when visiting my daughter who lives locally. The staff are invariably friendly and very efficient. The coffees good too!
This place has a great vibe with traditional furniture and twinkly lights. The service was fast and friendly. The coffee was great and sandwiches small but tasty and a fair price. Central location too!
