The food was good. Service was very slow and they were not that busy; maybe they want you to relax and enjoy the outside dining along the river (you can't see the river from your table). We were shocked to see that they charged for their filtered water; $1 a glass I think; when several in our group did not order water they offered to waive the charge which was very nice. I'm not sure if this is typical in Canada but we ate out every day and this was the only place that wanted to charge for water. We had to ask for bread for the table. Booked an early dinner, wanted to check this place out for a while. Having read some of the reviews, I was a little reluctant, but we were promptly seated. Ordered drinks, the bar was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. My wife ordered the steak salad, which was good. I ordered the prime burger and sweet potato fries and a salad. Burger was really good, two patties cooked to order, they brought fries instead of the sweets, but they corrected the mistake and the sweet potato fries were tasty. Would have been better hot. We love Del Frisco Grill! We've been there several times since they opened in Brentwood and have had mostly very good experiences. The one thing that they could improve upon is getting a server to your table more quickly. There seems to be a little confusion at the check-in desk as to which server is serving what area but I'm sure they will get this worked out. I've had the steak salad a couple of times and it is absolutely delicious. My husband had the beef stroganoff and he thoroughly enjoyed it. The wine list is excellent and they also have several good wines by the glass. Highly recommend Del Frisco Grill. And if weather is permitting I suggest you sit on the lovely covered patio outside...
Del Frisco's is my new favorite in Brentwood. My favorite is the Steakhouse salad yum, always perfect every time. The waiters and Manager seems very attentive.
