I shall not be returning here for a while. This is the second time we 've been and had a horrible meal. Ceasar salad this time (last time I tried a pizza and it was like cardboard). This salad has to be the worst I 've ever had. Worse still, the staff are just not interested. They ask if everything was okay, clearly not as I 'd hardly touched it, and when you say no , they just shrugged and took it away. My other bug bear is the food was delivered like a production line. My husband 's starter plate was cleared away before I 'd finished mine, hate that, so rude. Then my main meal was brought out and I was still eating starter, still had my plate on the table. I shall find somewhere else to ha...
I often eat at these restaurants when I am travelling .They are OK but no more than that .The portions are small and the house wine is not very nice .You need to read the menu formula carefully to be sure of what is included .I have also found that they differ in quality in different parts of the country .
Del Arte is a conviently located restaurant just off the motorway in Carcassonne. We visited here with 2 young children. The waiter was very friendly and the kids menu was excellent. For the adults there is a good choice also. We had the gnocchi and gorgonzola pizza which were both very tasty.
The meals were ok but certainly nothing to get exited about. The problem was the lack of organisation amongst staff. One person seated us another took orders and another brought the meals, no one took overall responsibility for the table, hence things were forgotten ie. Bread and parmesan.
