I love Del Taco. I lived in Southgate for awhile and Del Taco was one of our favorite fast food places. Now we live closer to this location in Livonia. We came in last weekend right before the lunchtime rush. The entire dining area was disgusting, there’s no way that places had been cleaned from the day before. The floor was so sticky I walked out of my flip flop. No tables were cleaned off-I wiped one off with a baby wipe and napkins so we could eat inside. The bathrooms were disgusting. The fries also tasted like they were cooked in old oil- I gave 2 stars because the tacos we ate were decent. In addition, while we were eating there was a girl out in the lobby sweeping up (no big deal) but...
Have gone here a few times and used the app to put the order in ahead of time. First time I drove right up and my order was ready and I was out of there in less than a minute. The following times it’s a normal drive through wait. We get their 0.69 snack tacos and I can’t quite put my finger on it but the flavor is slightly off. Like the shells taste slightly burnt. Don’t expect 5 star cuisine but it’s not a bad taco joint I still prefer .
We ordered breakfast on the app and arrived 20 minutes later, they claimed to have just received the order and we proceeded to wait another 10 minutes for them to make it. It’s just 3 wraps why did it take 30 minutes to make? The guy who handed us the food was at least nice and apologized but we ordered on the app so we didn’t have to wait. There was no one inside or in the drive thru when we got there. It’s just unacceptable.
Service and food was amazing will be back again !!! Love this place more than any taco place !!!
