Being a Californian I would go to Del Taco, just about every day because the food is good and it doesn't cost much. Now that I've been living in Daytona Beach for several years, I really missed her Mexican food, the hot sauce and so I decided to make the hour trip down here to Del Taco. I really wish they had a Del Taco about this way Hint Some earlier reviews said there are mold on the ceiling, but the truth is that there was a leak in the roof that took about two weeks to fix it. I lived in the larger area of Orlando for about two years, and at that time I visited this Del Taco only once. It was almost three in the morning, I had been drinking with my roommate's boyfriend since the previous afternoon and for what reason he decided that I had to try Del Taco as I never was. What we went in could only be rivaled by the Al G. Barnes Circus. The dining area was filled with children from the neighboring college campus. Everyone was kind of drunker than me. We have eaten in Del Taco in Vegas, but since the retreat to Port Orange, Florida, no longer have the pleasure. Today we decided to drive all the way (one hour each), a stop in Titusville to see a rocket launch, then on Del Taco of UCF for a ton of food! The Lord at Theke was amazing! Unfortunately we didn't get his name (not all the bigger guy with glasses) but he was so friendly, even though we were confused about what we wanted. After I went to an empty restaurant, I stood at the counter about 4 minutes before leaving the office and was probably about a minute before someone noticed I was standing at the counter. I ordered a steak street taco And was very disappointed and the portion size, the avocado disc was the largest ingredient in the entire Taco. The steak was practically not existent, I can't even describe how little meat was on the taco. I don't think I'll eat here again.

Recently moved here from the Midwest. This was our first visit. Quality authentic food of a Mexican restaurant with the quickness of a Taco Bell. Sorry TB, we have a new favorite. Not only was the food amazing, i think they might have been cheaper than TB. 3 bags of food for 6 people for $50. Also serves burgers and fries. My son said the burgers were really good. Two thumbs up! ??
We love this place. The service is good and the prices are reasonable. The tacos are delicious and full of taste. Remember that fast food is tacos. We enjoy it better than Taco Bell and they have Pommes if you want something else with your meal. Our choices are the Del Taco and Grilled Chicken Tacos.
The food was better than Taco Bell however it was more expensive as well!!! Not a bad experience but there was a bit of a bland taste with the burritos still pretty good.
Say no to Taco Bell and choose Del Taco. For about the same price The Del taco has fresh ingredients, and 5x meat cheese as stingy Taco Bell. So good
