Called into Deli Lites in Quays today to be served by small dark haired girl. I have eaten in Deli Lites often and enjoyed the food but today went for vegan salad and was disappointed. The salad was very small with just a few items on the plate. When I raised this with the person serving I was told that vegan food was more expensive ....... it was the same as always actually but without the meat. I decided to change to a piri piri chicken salad which was much better but came without cous cous. I asked for some cous cous and was charged an additional £2.00 for a spoon of cous cous. Perhaps the waitress was just having a bad day but thought Deli Lites had a better standard of customer service....
Today, I called in an order for two sandwiches for takeout. When I arrived at Deli Lites in the Quays Newry, I was informed that one of my sandwiches was not available. The other sandwich, which was significantly overpriced at £6, did not even have all the ingredients I requested. I was extremely disappointed and hungry, as I had been looking forward to Deli Lites all day. Despite wanting to return the sandwich, I had no choice but to eat it due to my hunger. I do not plan on going back to Deli Lites unless I suddenly win the lottery and am starving.
I went to this restaurant to get a takeout wrap on a busy Saturday. The line was long and I was not looking forward to waiting. However, as soon as I told my server (a young man from another country) that I wanted a vegan option, he quickly changed his gloves, washed his knife, and put down a paper on the preparation area. I was very impressed that I didn't have to ask for anything else other than a vegan wrap. Excellent service!! I will definitely come back to eat here. The staff is well trained and thoughtful.
I ordered a salad bowl, but was disappointed to find that they skimped on everything except the lettuce leaves. There were only about 6 pieces of sweetcorn and a small amount of carrot. At £7.50, it was not worth the hefty price. My friends had a baked potato which was dry, and they also skimped on the chicken beans. I won't be returning to this restaurant.

Bought a chicken tikka sandwich at the hospital. What a disgrace. Will attach a photo to show the bare minimum amount of chicken in it! No filling whatsever around the edges of the bread, just in centre were it can be seen from the package! £2.85 for a smidge of filling!!! Deli lites sandwich company definately fits!!! Light on the filling!
Attempted to go for lunch today. There was 2 of us. Ordered and was told to take a seat, so one of us waited to pay and one took a seat. A different waitress then came over and told my sister to get up of the seat. We were next in line to pay. Exceptionally rude and embarrassing to have to get up from the table. Wouldn’t recommend
Had breakfast here the other day. Had the French toast with rubarb compote and vanilla creme fresh. Couldn’t believe how nice it was I was actually shocked as I don’t normally go for French toast but thought I’d have it for a change . Best French toast I’ve ever eaten will def be back just to have this again.
Always pop into Deli Lites as get consistent lovely food and the best flat white in a decent cup. So far had the soup, goats cheese salad and goats cheese with pestobon toasted sourdough. Absolute yum and great value.

I picked up one of Deli Lites vegan sandwiches and a cup of coffee last week and have to say its become my go to option for flavour and convenience. The taste is great especially for being a plant based option!
