Delight Cafe - Table reservation

My husband goes to the Britannia for lunch and was telling me how nice it is, so I thought I would have to check it out. I was not disappointed at all. It's a proper, good value cafe with good freshly cooked food that doesn't cut any corners. The staff are very efficient and friendly. I asked for a salad instead of veg with my shepherd's pie and was expecting a little garnish. Instead I got almost a plateful of mixed salad. The pie itself was very good and a generous serving. Lots of good stuff on the menu so looking forward to another visit soon.

Been using Britannia cafe for some weeks now, food is very hit or miss, try to use the Britannia cafe when not busy, you will receive a reasonably good breakfast, but when busy it's not so good, you receive you tea or coffee, toast or bread, quite a while before your breakfast, so if you wanted them with your breakfast they will be cold, the baked beans are not a very good quality try to avoid them, the sausages bacon are not bad, will use the cafe again But only when not busy.

Had pie and mash and liquor to go from here today. Ordered over the phone and picked up on time stated, given hand gel at door before entry. Picking up food for lunch party with grandsons. Perfect pie and mash and really friendly people. We will be going again and also will visit to eat in. Highly recommend on all aspects.

Great service, great value, great food. Always lucky to get a table, would recommend. Won’t be waiting a lifetime for food like you do in some cafes. Owners got this one sorted.

Brittania cafe is a great little cafe,staff are very friendly they even notice when 1 person isn't there.
