Who would have thought that such a fantastic restaurant is hidden behind the inconspicuous name and in the middle of a commercial area and wholesale halls. We landed here by chance, because we stood at the door (closed society). If the many positive reviews had not been, we would probably have turned around and not in this commercial area. A simple but elegant decor, beautiful photos from the long last days of the slaughterhouse, the service polite and inconspicuous. The salad was fine, the scampi pan was defenitive. As the main course there was Rib Eye Steak and that was the hammer! I've never eaten such delicate meat! The knife cut the meat almost by itself. A bottle of water and a Rioja, which was comparatively cheap at about 25€, but nevertheless very good. Finally an espresso, otherwise an almost perfect evening for almost 100€, which was absolutely appropriate for the offered performance. You're welcome.
The restaurant is very inconspicuous from the outside. A little hard to find because you have to go up to the first floor through a small angled gear. The location above is great. It is also positive that parking spaces are right outside the door. The service staff is super friendly and attentive. The appetizer, the main course and dessert were simply the hammer. The ambience ensures a pleasant atmosphere. The service (we had a young lady) was very friendly. She looked at us so we never had to wait long. Great! The food was very delicious and beautifully dressed. The appetizer (lummer cream soup) was a bit too salty for my taste. Rumpsteak, mushrooms and oven potatoes have tasted very well. I can only recommend it!
I had a goat starter and my friend a thun-fishtar he said was extraordinary. for matins we both had the pfeffersteaks that were in the did 14oz filets with excellent pfeffersoße on the side. both were cooked exactly as ordered, medium rarely and the knife was sliding through the meat. sublime. up there with steak 48 in chicago, as best I had.
