Prior to becoming a vegetarian and now a vegan, I loved going to diners. It's not just about the food, but the atmosphere and the Deluxe Town Diner has both. All of their vegetarian items are clearly listed on the menu and there is more than one item to choose from for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Service was fast, food was great, and I loved the tea menu. I highly recommend and will go back soon. Their web site address is [hidden link]
Went to breakfast with my non vegan family and were warmly welcomed by an older woman we accept is an owner. Has seen on the line and was really looking for fig to the vegan flap jackets, but was said they were from them. The tofu Scramble Burrito ordered that was good. Soy milk for my coffee was crowned so it was an immediate shutdown for me. My family didn't cost her vegan breakfast, but I think we'll try somewhere else next time.
Great place to take family and from town friends who are not vegan. I always get the cookies (corn cakes) with blueberries, and side of Tofu scramble. Large Mem tea options, but their coffee is surprisingly really good. Milkshakes without milk.
