I had never eaten Ethiopian food before. It was an enjoyable experience. A friend and I came here to celebrate her graduation. Employees were so nice and the server was very patient. We ordered the beef and cheese sambussas. Delicious with the sauce they were served with. We shared the Demera Messob for 2: Doro Wot, Ye-beg Wot, Lega Tibs, Dinich Wot(very spicy , Tikle Gomen(omg! , Yatkilt Wat. Honey Wine Sangria and Indaba Sauvignon Blanc, South Africa were both delicious. I’m not into vodka but I’d surely order the sangria myself. We shared their take on Tiramisu which was fantastic! It has their homemade ice cream instead of the custard. I can’t recommend this place enough. It was deliciou...

it was my first time to eat Ethiopian food. we started with an appetizer sampler and had the family style plate (half half-mice) for our main meal. it was the best way to try the many types of dressed that they need to offer. the food was excellent, very well seasoned. it was another kind of culinary experience for us, but we all really enjoyed it and will definitely return. the personal was super friendly, from the hostess to our server, and others who stopped to make sure we had everything we needed.

last week had a phenomenal time in demera. I had never had Ethiopian food, but wow was so good! my friends and I tried the tellers of the chef and it was the perfect opportunity to try many things at once. the dessert was also delicious, especially the chocolate caromate cream. I have a reservation, but there were places on a week. everything was at first level.

we had a delicious meal in demera! the eating was amazing that we started with the spinat sambusas (perfect, beautiful spices) and then our super friendly server helped us to pick up 3 vegetables and 3 meat dishes. all were wonderful. it was not a cheap meal, but it was worth it! Book a table now

I had never tried Ethiopian food, but wow! I love it! my daughter-in-law brought us here. She has come since she was a child. my favorite was the lemony cube steak. we tried the big plate with 3 meats and 3 vegetables. kartoffels were very sharp. can't wait to go back.

amazing eating! I would give 5 stars if it was all vegan, but in any case a very nice place to try for different options!

Having lived in DC, I've had a lot of great Ethiopian, but lunch here was among the best experiences I've had.
