This is my second visit to Derby City Truck Plaza. The first visit was to take a shower. I went in a little after 7pm and asked for a shower. The cashier said give her a minute and she would clean a shower for me. The showers were really nice had enough water pressure and hot water. The second time was this afternoon to the restaurant. I got my order to go. It was delicious!!!! I got gravy and biscuits. It had lots of gravy with it. I got my husband cheeseburgers and fries. Both were excellent!!
Um... thought this was a horror movie set. ?Dirty in ALL ways possible the women that work here are so unfriendly. Food? ? Just don't.There is an upstairs.... guess for showers?... Why don't the women that work here want to talk with other women coming in? This IS a restaurant, correct?Too bad. My husband I like giving the local truck stops the business, but this place needs a health inspection:Also, if you are going to allow smoking, say it somewhere outside. Not every trucker is unhealthily.
They have some amazing breakfast cooked to order that I almost always get regardless whether its early in the morning or late in the afternoon. They also have all kinds of other food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that are really good as well. The prices are really cheap and the portions are big but the quality of the food is still great! It's a truck stop abd restaurant but the food is right up there with a restaurant that is solely a place to eat.
This place is fantastic! It feels just like the good old days! I inquired about showers and was told they were complimentary, just bring your own towel. Since I didn't have one, I purchased a nice shower for $5.50, with good water pressure. I returned the towel afterwards. The food was delicious and satisfying. What a great find! They also offer free parking and showers.

Don't judge a book by its cover! The food at this restaurant was incredibly delicious and fresh. We ordered two meals for $19.00 and left completely satisfied. The waitress provided excellent service as well. Don't just take my word for it, stop by and try it for yourself - you won't be disappointed.
we were here about thinking weeks, problems that people are spectacular only a beautiful group. eating was very fresh and well prepared, service impeccable. we were offered the use of truck showers as we had no water absorption. can't say enough good things except for thank you for your hospitality.
We were traveling in a class c motor home on way to Tennessee and had a valve stem meds up. After calling around with everything closed (memorial day) someone gave us this number and the owner was kind enough to fix us up very quickly and at a good price!! Very nice people and excellent service.
Amazing food. Super nice people. Loved the whole experience.. Will definitely be a return customer. Old time truck stop diner. Highly recommend. Looks like the Kathy Mattea 18 wheels and a dozen roses diner in the video.

This restaurant on I-75 is the best place to eat, no question. They offer generous portions at a reasonable price. The waitress was attentive and on top of things.
Basic food options done well.On a long drive, it was nice to have an option that wasn't a fast food franchise.I would happily stop in next time I'm passing by.
