when they go to wangenbourg, they must try the restaurant of vosges! the menu includes family recipes that are delivered by generations of the family klerlein with love. we had homemade foie gras, escargot (the best in france), venison from the surrounding forest, spatzle, bouchee a...la pure, meteor beer and a well-chosen wein list. our desserts included cunibert klerleins homemade chocolate mousse, oeufs a la neige, and to the breakfast a classic ball hope. Do not miss this opportunity! the decor and the atmosphere is very suitable for this fairytale village.
we visited with our month old son on the way to the castle to lunch. schirr could also be diner, but it was a great lunch. they also have a child seat and we were allowed to wind in a separate room. gastgeber speaks French and German. very friendly.
