This is the oldest and most traditional of restaurants in Bad Nauheim. The interior adds a particular cosy charm. Our hotel receptionist recommended this restaurant after we had informed him that we were keen to try the local traditional Hessian cuisine. Included in his recommendation...was a list of what dishes we must try. A very nice, friendly and courteous young waiter communicated with us in fluent English when we arrived. We went there as a group of for beers and also for dinner. Their menu is somewhat limited, but this is not a restaurant, more like a pub with a decent menu for a pub. Most of us tried their traditional liver dish. It...was surprisingly good! As for the beers, we mostly drank Löwenbräu. My German friend explained to me that this is a seasonal beer for the Oktober Fest and he thought it was pretty nice that they had it there. Service, was OK, but we had to try to get the waitress' attention to have our beers refilled. Decorations around the place are also interesting
The image shows the baked hand cheese wrapped in a bacon coat with herbal beef. Very delicious who likes hand cheese. There were green sauces and salad set. Delicious apple wine and in-house carbonized water from the carafe. At the next visit to Bad Nauheim, we guarantee that we can get a cookie. The backyard is a small wellness paradise. Thank you.
The Deutsche Haus is one of the oldest restaurants in Bad Nauheim. Situated just off the central Market Square, it is housed in a traditional half-timbered house. This is the Germany of old from all the magazines and Instagram pictures. The food is traditional German...and excellent. Romantic garden seating available.
