If you're planning a visit to Bristol for a short getaway, business trip, or if you're considering relocating, this restaurant is a must-visit! The atmosphere is great, with fantastic rustic decor. The food is amazing, bursting with flavor. This is not your typical British curry house, but rather a place that serves Indian street food, offering authenticity to your meal. We tried a sharing platter, which allowed us to sample a variety of dishes, all of which were delicious and not overly spicy. For mains, I enjoyed the butter chicken from Delhi while my partner had the Goan fish, both of which were fantastic and full of flavor. The fish literally melted in our mouths. The naan bread was not...

I would say the perfect place for this type of restaurant. Tried for the dinner. You will fall in love with the menu. Many things to try for. The 3 star because of the service, you have to give a lot of time for the order to give and deliver. And if you want to order something extra, that would be a nightmare. Chicken Momo was not up to the mark. Chicken was smelling like old stock. Advice: If you are visiting on weekends, please order it in one shot. Else you gonna stay very very long time. And Please try to sit inside. If you sit outside, high chance of your order getting lost.
Horrible experience in this restaurant, We went there for a lovely dinner turned up a nightmare for us.there are couple of things they have to focus on. 1. We have ordered Papdi chat, service was ok and fast but what we found in papdi chat, fafda( Gujarati snack made of besan) instead of proper papdi and when we asked to one of restaurant staff he refused to accept that this is not papdi. 2. Ordered aaloo tikki chat turned up tikki made of creamy mashed potatoes rolls. Didn't try any other food there so cant comment on those ones. Ambience was nice.
"This restaurant has one of the best atmospheres with Bollywood music playing. The wall art is very authentic to Indian culture. The service is good and the food tastes satisfactory. I ordered the starter aloo tikki, and for the main course I had paneer makhani with roti. The portions are large enough for two people, but if dining alone, I would recommend choosing a smaller dish. If you enjoy sweeter gravies, go for the paneer makhani, otherwise opt for a spicier alternative." Book a table now
The Indian food at this restaurant is truly exceptional. The paneer makhni is my favorite, it's absolutely delicious. The starters, such as the samosa chat and aloo tikki chat, were also very good. For the main course, the daal tarka and paneer were excellent. We also enjoyed trying all the different types of bread. I highly recommend this restaurant. Oh, and don't forget to try the beautiful mango lassi - it's a must-try!
The food here is very tasty and the service is very good here too. However, the food is served in Bowls and it loses heat very quickly and goes luke warm, perhaps providing heated tray surfaces, as in other Indian Restaurants would resolve the issue. The Nann breads comes cut into 4 pieces and served in a cold metal dish, that's fine, but again due to this process the bread goes cold very quickly and deflates
This is my first review, but it is necessary for this exceptional experience. I tried Indian cuisine for the first time at this restaurant and I was not disappointed! The service was excellent and the food was delicious! The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience, and the fish curry was our favorite dish.
Could not recommend this place more. we had lamb bhuna, chicken karai and the sharing platter. Every dish was unreal, spicy, fresh and delicious. 10/10 recommend and will be back! Book a table now
Our favorite Indian restaurant in Bristol. The food is amazing and the service is excellent. Robin, Rinkal, and Satish are incredibly welcoming and make us feel right at home.
