"Absolutely beautiful restaurant. Had a table right on the water in the shade. They even grilled a chicken breast for my dog."

Restaurant was recommended by a neighbor on a neighboring island. Took a water taxi, arrived 15 minutes early and were told by the large woman manning the hostess stand to wait at the bar; of a mostly vacant restaurant, and later we were shown to our table. Waitress immediately took our order, but after an hour and 15 minutes waiting we had to track our waitress down to inquire about our order in a mostly vacant restaurant and were told I 'll check on it. I related don 't bother as our return water taxi was scheduled for two hours return, and was less than 30 minutes out. No food, horrible service, and large hostess overhead complaining about our canceling an order after an hour and 15 minut...

Late season visitors should be prepared with warm layers or blankets if they intend to sit outside to enjoy the gorgeous island cove scenery. The staff was overextended across the dining areas during my visit, but otherwise attentive and accommodating. Service from the bar was good. The food was not up to expectations. Sadly the men's restroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned or tended to...ever. It's always a terrible experience when one uses the restroom to find the soap dispenser completely empty -1 Atmosphere .

A magical spot and a true hidden gem among Portland’s dining options. Take a 30 minute ferry from the city and dine by the water on a quiet, secluded cove. Food and drink are a little pricey, but solid, and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. 10/10 for a memorable date, place to bring friends from out of town, or adult family reunion.

Great food and wonderful service with a view from our porch seating overlooking the cove. The drinks were watery and tasteless which kept this from being a 5 star review.
