During our last visit, we ordered the family specialties featuring brisket and pulled pork, along with sides of mac and cheese, roasted okra, and grilled beans. This time, we opted for a variety of rib dishes with the same sides. Thickys BBQ has never let us down. We enjoyed our meal to the point of discomfort, and then indulged in complimentary vanilla soft serve ice cream.
The dining experience was fantastic. However, I forgot my wallet and attempted to pay using my Samsung phone. The cashier was completely unfamiliar with it and seemed quite flustered! This was the only issue I encountered. It's not the first time I've experienced this; I wonder why mobile payments, like Samsung or Apple Pay, are still so unfamiliar to businesses.

The service was friendly, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was incredible. The owner of this place was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made us regret not coming here sooner. We will definitely be back!
