we had eaten in this restaurant a few years ago and enjoyed very much our dinner. this time due to some event in the main restaurant, we were put in to the other part of their restaurant called the 'hut' hütte. a little house with...limited space. no kitchen and no bathrooms in this hut. low ceilings and very loud from people talking because everyone sat pretty close to each other. so we ordered a breaded pork with french fries meal and a duck meal. for this restaurant it should have tasted alot better. we think that since they were having a big event in their main restaurant...somehow they forgot the spices. not only that but since the 'hut' had no kitchen, the food was being brought over g...
We rode by several times and this time we decided to stop in. It was pm and we were asked whether we had a reservation. Although there was not much happening. Anyway we said that we would eat and run. We just wanted to...still our hunger. So we were sat at a table where the next guests would be coming at pm....great. The asien looking waiter was super friendly. The room was comfy...nice atmosphere. I was hungering for a bavarian dish...schweinebraten roast pork and knödel potatoe dumpling but it was not being offered . Second dish...wiener schnitzel vienna style breaded pork with french fries pommes frites and cranberries. YES THEY CAN!! DELICIOUS!!! served fresh, hot french fries. HOT, nice...
The fountain in the middle of the garden drowns out the noise from the street. Big umbrellas provide shade. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The menu goes beyond typical Biergarten and includes game dishes. The Wiener Schnitzel from pork was excellent: thin, tasty, not soaking...in fat. The menu has dishes for children and there were plenty, wellbehaved, happily eating their fries. A local Biergarten filled with locals
I was here three times and that was always great. I always had one of their special Bavarian dishes, like their special walu burger that came in one.
