We were looking for a german restaurant and Diebsloch was the closest. Its location is top, just like any café and restaurant at Marktplatz. The deck outside was full, but we got a nice table for inside, staff was friendly through and through. We...were satisfied with our Schweinelendenspieß (served w champignon, bratkartoffel and sauce), Schnitzeljagd (Schnitzel in Kinderportion without schnitzel soße, and pommes) and Diebesgut (also has pommes, with probably fried chicken?!? Wasn't my dish not so sure). I asked for extra sauce for my pommes, no problem. Sauce came after Food and service, all in all, great. The only thing that bugs me was my pfälzer Grauburgunder (can't remember the brand n...

Had lunch here while visiting Weinheim and my wife and I loved this place! Although the restaurant is small, it is very cozy and exudes a feeling of gemütlichkeit. We shared the Diebslochplatte which is a sampling of the most popular entrees bratwurst, maultaschen, wurstsalat,...schnitzel, schäufele, and saumagen. You also receive bratkartoffeln, sauerkraut, and kartoffelsalat on the tray. IT IS A TON OF FOOD. We were hungry but had to walk away with plenty of food left on the plate but everything was so good. Our server Cecilia? was very friendly, answered all of our questions and even put up with my poor German. If I had a hard time understanding something she quickly transitioned our conv...

We took our two children here for a family dinner with the inlaws on a Sunday. The restaurant has outside seating on the Marktplatz, along with about rivals, under acacia trees. A monastery and the city fortifications are within site. Very nice atmosphere if...the weather is cooperative. There is a seasonal menu with specials. Classic German fare using local ingredients: deepfried schnitzel, home made fries, fresh salad, local white wine, fresh bread, and so on. Family owned restaurant in a Fachwerkhaus, now in its second generation. Prices were about including drinks

I visited the place with a friend. We both had a big salad. The lady who attended our table was very nice. She did not take notes when we ordered, still everything was served correctly she apparently respected her job, kudos for that! The...food was decent and the atmosphere was nice. Absolutely nothing to complain, can only recommend! Book a table now

Good food and good service. They were busy, busy, busy so the waitress was a bit stressed but all considering, she did a very good job. Four of us ate different meals. Everyone enjoyed their order. Bottom line: a good place to eat with a...lot of atmosphere. The price was reasonable. Good value. We would return
