First time to Dilly Dally in Subiaco, it’s a lovely quirky venue. We first had drinks at Bar Loiter (it’s out back). The staff were friendly and atmosphere is relaxed. The wine list is extensive but the staff are knowledgeable and can guide you. We then had dinner at Dilly Dally. Again staff were friendly, we had a seat inside near the staircase. My husband I shared 4 dishes. We had fried potatoes which were absolutely delicious very good value $13, then we had prawns potato dill which was not good value at all $27 for only 3 small prawns we paid for an extra prawn so we’d get 2 each. It was on a thin spread of potato purée (there should have been 6 prawns at that size or 3 big plump juicy k...
We had dinner here and felt totally ripped off at the end of our experience. We were greeted with disdain, as if we shouldn't be there. Then the waiters all but ignored us, they didn't come to check on us or see if we needed drinks as we dined. We had to ask for dessert menus after a very long wait. The food was average at best, flavourless at worst. The coffee was undrinkably strong. And we paid for the pleasure. So disappointed. Delicious food, great atmosphere and good service. Extensive wine list with not many options on the cheaper side. Every single dish was absolutely amazing and will be coming back here and recommending. The pastas are divine. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
