Who's ready for Mardi Gras this weekend?<br/ <br/ To celebrate, Din Tai Fung Australia have launched a limited edition Rainbow Dumpling! Available until 4th March.<br/ <br/ For me, seeing the progression that Australia has made with accepting LGBTQI is quite remarkable. I was extremely excited to try these dumplings, not only because of how adorable they look, but also because it warms my heart to see that restaurants are also embracing this new culture.<br/ <br/ Din Tai Fung is a global enterprise and it's easy to see why. The quality of the food is unmistakable and I love that there is a great mix of traditional and modern Chinese food. Of the dishes I was lucky enough to try, I absolutely...

Din Tai Fung requires no introduction, it is a household name worldwide renowned for its mouth-watering soup dumplings, aka Xiao Long Bao.  But Din Tai Fung is so much more than just a dumpling restaurant.   . Recently the restaurant launched a Christmas Feast banquet menu at $50 per person, it was indeed a tasteful feast with whopping 14 courses, starting from five types of dumplings and finishing with a mango dessert.  It featured the signature pork dumpling, pan fried pot stickers, as well something a bit more decadent – black truffle and pork dumplings. This is truly the place to be for dumplings lovers.

I hadn’t been to Din Tai Fung in so long and it was as good as I had remembered. The wait wasn’t too long and the service is always quick and efficient. The Spicy Shrimp Pork Wontons (pictured) are my absolute favourite. Given that it is currently truffle season in Australia we could not go past the Pork Truffle Dumplings (pictured). So, so good and you could actually taste the truffle! #dintaifung

My go-to restaurant whenever I’m craving Xiao Long Bao! I’ve visited countless times and the franchise has never let me down. My favourite is the Shrimp and Pork Wonton Noodle with Spicy Sauce. The Egg Fried Rice with Crumbled Chicken Fillet is pretty good too. Although restaurant is a little pricier compared to other Chinese restaurants in the Sydney, I still highly recommend visiting!
