I came here quite a few years ago on my way driving from Boston back to Chicago via NYC and a visit to Long Island to pick up a couple from my college days who lived in Oyster Bay (I loved the name, but we didn 't get any oysters unfortunately). I love Indian food and one of my Oyster Bay pals (she was a vegetarian) who was driving back with us had been to Diwan before and said that the menu was big and the the food here was good. So we came here. I was not disappointed by the food, but I suffered a surprise left hook by the prices. My usual Indian food go to is the $12 AYCE lunch buffet, which usually has everything I crave most at literally 1/4 the price of the same items at dinner. And I...

My original review was removed by Yelp. This is what Yelp sent me. it didn 't look like your content depicted an experience at this location. I can provide credit card receipts and proof that my wife and I have eaten at this restaurant, several times and over several iterations, couple of years back they tried a Mexican concept as part of their location, believe it or not. We have lived in PW take a look at my other reviews from Port Washington. So once again, Let me sum this up, the service was surly and the food was just not that good along with their pricing. We find this restaurant to be a barely passable attempt at Indian food with REALLY **** service in a lovely location. For dinner it...

Mr. Chris Cuelho, the head waiter, truly enhanced our dining experience. He expertly described the dishes we selected and accurately recommended portion sizes. The food was exceptional, leaving us with very little to take home. The Chicken Tikka Masala was delicious, with a perfect balance of spices. We are certain that we will return for a special occasion, as we have some Indian friends who would appreciate both the stunning view and the delicious food.

We ate here last night for the fourth time recently and this is easily the best Indian food on Long Island. The food and atmosphere are awesome and we had a great conversation with our server, Chris. The staff are all super friendly too and treat you like a friend. Can't wait to come back again next time we're craving awesome Indian food, which will be soon! Book a table now

I visited this restaurant for dinner. I typically dine at their Hicksville branch and prefer it. Positives include the very friendly staff and the delicious goat biryani and garlic naan. However, the portion sizes for the chicken tikka masala and saag paneer were quite small for the price. Another drawback is that they only have one all-gender restroom.

Not sure why there's a lot of bad reviews for this place. We came on Valentine's Day and service was quick and friendly. Is this the most authentic Indian restaurant? No. But I got my cravings fixed and it tasted good. Will definitely be back. Drinks 8/10 Food 8/10 Ambiance 10/10 Parking 10/10 Service 9/10

Parking is easy, with Indian ambiance and Lantern lighting, in addition to recessed ceiling lighting. Food quality is consistently good in all their dishes! Some of our group favorites are; butter chicken, lamb biryani, and okra! The service is very good with knowledge waiters and vey friendly.

The mixed grill platter includes a variety of kebabs, tandoori chicken, and malai chicken served with onions and bell peppers on a sizzling platter.
