Second visit today because I was so blown away by my first visit, that I decided for my birthday I would come back. The first visit was an excellent experience. Today.. I was so disappointed. We sat at the bar this time. The drinks were subpar in comparison, weak, water down. The bartender was not attentive at all. Our chips and drinks ran out and I stared see pics) of all the staff that had time to stand around but not service. I don’t normally say anything but I was so disappointed. The bartender that took care of us was nice, peppy just not present at all. No one was ever rude by any means but the service sucked. Literally last time I came here it was amazing, they even boxed my leftovers...

Upscale setting with well priced food. The Coctel de Camarons off the ceviche menu is fantastic. Pictured below as the presentation is gorgeous. The iced tea is yummy and fresh and goes great with an afternoon on the patio. We went with the tempura fish tacos and the grilled gulf shrimp tacosSitting outside is amazing. The patio and set up feel like you are in a different time and place. Relaxed and casual atmosphere with shade and even a stage for entertainment (although I don’t know if they utilize it)Cocktail menu is basic offerings but the One margarita looks like a great choice. Always add a floater of gran Marnier for a little extra punch.Overall location is fantastic and close to other...
The food itself is average at best. The meat often lacks flavor or is dry, and the tortillas are tough. On the other hand, the drinks are pretty good and strong, which might explain why some people keep returning. Overall, it seems like a place where the goal is to be seen, or perhaps people just stop by after shopping in Knox. Honestly, it's all just hype. I would never bring an out-of-town guest here and claim it's authentic Tex-Mex. It definitely has that Dallas vibe—nice décor, but it falls short on flavor and personality. The business strategy seems to be about keeping the place small to create a sense of popularity with long wait times, but no one should need to wait over an hour for m...
While on my way to the barbershop, I noticed this place off the highway. Intrigued, I promptly googled and checked its location, scrolling through pictures. I decided to stop by on my way back, and I'm thrilled with the food, service, and atmosphere. I had to share this positive experience in a review—modern habits, you know. Usually, trying something new disappoints me, but not today! The food was truly worth the money, and I thoroughly enjoyed my sangria. Kid-friendliness: Options for kids Book a table now
Food was meh, definitely not worth the price. We had the queso, ceviche, brisket and fish tacos. We left around 9:00 after the staff started stacking chairs and cut off music. Our first table the light was flickering and the table was shaky, moved to another table. The furniture felt like very cheap patio tables. Maybe the boozy drinks play in the high ratings, but I certainly don’t understand what people see in this place.
The restaurant has a charming atmosphere, but it's quite small and crowded, making it very loud. The food was enjoyable overall. My favorite dish we tried was the carne asada nachos (which I didn’t get a picture of). However, the brisket taco was rather dry and lacking in flavor.
This place was super fun, i was visiting and the food was authentic, the drinks are strong and tasted amazing. I highly recommend this place. The staff was super fun and really friendly . Will surely be back when i visit dallas again. Convenient place and easy parking as well
