In 2024,this place still has the ambiance. The food, however, has taken a step backwards. The staff is not as friendly these days either. Waitress threw a fit because we wanted to open the umbrellas on the table...it was a sunny day with ZERO wind. We had a dog with us that needed shade as did we. She insisted she had to go make sure that her boss was ok with letting us open the umbrellas. Then when she came back she had to reply with a smart remark like well the sun isnt as harmful as an umbrella flying into your head and knocking you unconscious a very mouthy Kristen. Also heard one of the waiters tell another staff member they were glad summer was coming to an end,with a sarcastic look on...
Nice surroundings. Food menu limited on a Monday night. Lots of bar type food with an upgraded price. Fries were cold, the stuffed sole was not fresh, dripping in butter and was prep food. The chicken tenders for the adult meal were overcooked and mushy. I have been visiting this restaurant since it's inception 25 years ago and haven't been there in a while and I found that the food quality was a disappointment. I don't believe anything was made fresh but had the prices of being an upper rated restaurant. With amount of great restaraunts in glens falls, you'd be better served by frequenting them. After all, you can't"eat the view"and the food and prices were disappointing. It's a shame that...
They have a nice view if eating outside. Unfortunately you’re eating overpriced mediocre food at best. Place seems to be run by a woman that is more concerned about the flowers in the parking lot overhanging the spaces and being touched by cars than actually running a decent restaurant. She rudely interrupted a meal with my family to mention the concern for flowers that were just barely touching the back of our car. Expecting some sort of sympathy for the over growing shrubs she waited by our car until we left.
I’ve reviewed this before on another account. So this is a bit of an update. This place is growing on me, for several reasons: Beautiful view Light and friendly staff Good portions with consistently good food It’s like many boxes ticked for what you would want, consistently, over time-a reliable eating experience, a winning formula. And it adds that I recognize people year after year ?

Everything was great! We had the ny strip and it was med well when I asked for rare. No I didn't say anything to the staff or my guests as I didn't want to disrupt the table and have them wait while another steak was cooked. Over all a great place on aglen lake and I will be back!
Some of the best restaurant food I'd had in a while. Unfortunately, outside seating was full so I got seated inside. My waitress was pleasant but very slow. I sat with an empty water glass for 10 minutes and an empty plate waiting for the check for another 10.
The fastest and best service I've had at a sit down restaurant. Flawless view of Glen Lake. Great, great service and food was delicious. Fresh, hot and quickly served. Kudos to the chefs and staff!
We went with my friend that is in a wheelchair. They have no handicap restrooms which made it very difficult for my friend. Will never return.

All 4 entrees were cold, the only part of our dinner that wasn't cold was the appetizer, boneless wings. Will not be returning.
