We booked a table on the terrace of the Dolcemare, with a beautiful view on the pier and the sea. It’s a restaurant that seeks creativity with fresh ingredients but falls short on a few points. We thought the service was a little underwhelming for the image the restaurant wants to project, given that the staff was quite unresponsive and we had to ask several times for things as simple as cutlery. Also, we found the staff to lack knowledge about their food and drink, as we would’ve expected them to give us suggestions about serving sizes for the fish (1kg of fish for 2 people is too much, and it would’ve been nice for them to indicate it when the price is per 100g). We were having the Caesar‘s salad and a salad with tuna. Both were really good, big in size and solid in quality. The terrace is overlooking the harbor and the sea. A nice spot with a enjoyable atmosphere. Service was good, also solid, i‘d Call it.
Food was amazing, the beef was super tender, the octopus was tender too. Service is impeccable and the chef came to tell us a word! Would recommend. 10/10
