We only found this place by recommendation from another (the other?) top-class restaurant/wine cellar in Rivesaltes, which was full. It is very much larger than Cazes' establishment and could easily find us a table, although it filled up later. (For warmer weather, there is also a great shaded terrace.)Indoors, the restaurant is in an impressive former wine vault, with stained glass windows at the ends.The ambience is quite jolly, with attentive staff. We went for lunch with friends to celebrate an anniversary. We enjoyed a variety of foods, all of an excellent standard, the service was attentive and the ambience of the surroundings was very restful and relaxing. We did not want to leave.
A good find for lunch around Perpignan. Great regional food served in a nice decor. This is a place where the locals eat! Great service and even pleasant discovery of local wines.
