Ate here twice over the space of three or so days because the food was just that good! The sushi was delicious, be warned that the portions are large! The waiters were the most attentive we met in the area and the most personable too. They have two separate preparation areas, one in the front for the sushi and one towards the back for the rest of the food, you can see them hard at work. We ate outside for lunch on a day that they were quite quiet, there wasn’t much of an ambiance as there weren’t many other customers but we had no complaints as you’ve such gorgeous surroundings it made for a very relaxing lunch. We ate dinner inside and there was a lovely ambiance, intimate but not too quiet...
We go a lot to don diego. a place with magnificent views of the sea of sotogrande. fuse Peruvian japo cuisine, thai and Spanish. some dishes more successful than others. sushi and sashimis for me are the best, although they have ever sinned from lack of freshness in the fish, something unforgivable when this genre is worked. the rolls merge the embroided, just like the stripes, not so much the ceviche. other combinations like teppan dishes just didn't convince me. neither, high prices, although quality is good, especially tuna and meat. do not ask for gold or lubine, the product is mediocre. magnificent winery. friendly service. price goes up by person without neglect. you could take the fou...
Nuestro favorito en los desplazamientos a Sotogrande. Segunda visita a Don Diego, que podría parecer por su nombre, un restaurante de comida tradicional pero uno se lleva una sorpresa al ver que el Sushi y las delicias de comida fusión es su fuerte. Gyozas vegetales, mix de excelente Sashimi y dos ensaladas ligeras pero ricas en sabores. Mochis de postre… atento servicio y amable.
Descubrimiento en Sotogrande. Para desconectar este Jueves Santo, quisimos llegarnos a Sotogrande. Y Don Diego nos ofreció un más que amplio menú de distintos sabores que nos encandilaron. Trato muy amable del personal. Giozas sobre una base de remolacha y frutos rojos; Tartar de pez mantequilla y vieras; Ceviche; Bacalao negro.

Un lugar fantástico para cenar, el ambiente es ideal y los camareros muy amables, estás cenando junto al puerto y los barcos en un cálido ambiente inmejorable, el atún estaba buenísimo!!!!
Juan the owner is constantly innovating and trying new dishes. The mix with Japaneses, Mexican and local produce mostly works very well. A place to go for sushi in Sotogrande.
